Scientific Games bolsters digital team with new SVP and VP
Keshav Pitani and industry newcomer Laura Higgins join lottery supplier under president Matt Lynch, in shake-up of top team
Scientific Games has bolstered its digital leadership team with the hires of ex-Light & Wonder head Keshav Pitani and industry newcomer Laura Higgins.
Pitani joins the supplier as senior VP of digital games after a lengthy spell with Light & Wonder, which itself was formerly known as Scientific Games Corporation.
Pitani moved to Light & Wonder in 2015 when the business acquired Bally Technologies. Light & Wonder divested the Scientific Games lottery arm in 2022.
The new SVP will oversee all of Scientific Games’ digital content, as well as its SG Content Hub strategy.
Management said Pitani’s “expertise across digital game studios and partnerships [would help] drive innovation and growth.”
Meanwhile, Higgins has been named as VP of customer success and strategy, joining Scientific Games from food and drug retailer Albertsons Companies.

She most recently served as VP of shopper engagement platforms, and previously held positions including head of digital loyalty innovation and senior director of shopper experience at the firm.
Prior to Albertsons, she worked at photography products company Shutterfly and Procter & Gamble in executive roles that focused on consumer product goods and ecommerce.
Matt Lynch, Scientific Games digital president, said: “Our digital team is experiencing strong momentum and we’re building an adaptable organization with a clear focus on the future.
“We are thrilled to welcome top-tier digital experts like Keshav Pitani and Laura Higgins. Their addition to our team reflects our continued investment in innovation, which is key to long-term sustainability for our lottery customers worldwide through consumer-centric digital programs.”
Lynch himself was named as digital president in October 2024 after he moved over from e-commerce start-up Firework.
