PrizePicks launches Early Exit feature
DFS operator says players now able to cash out early on their lineups once two or more players are active
PrizePicks has launched its latest feature, Early Exit, allowing players to cash out early on a lineup while games are ongoing.
Early Exit applies to select sports and stat types, the DFS operator said in a statement.
Giving players the option to cash out on a lineup or stay till the end, the feature activates when two or more players in the lineup start playing.
As the payout updates throughout the game in real time, users will be able to track the value in the new “Pulse” tab within the app.
Explaining why a player would use the new feature, PrizePicks said: “The new feature gives players a chance to guarantee a payout while the games are still going, or call it quits on a busted lineup before it goes to zero.”

PrizePicks noted once a player opts to receive the early payout, the funds will hit their account “immediately” and the money can be used to create a new lineup.
Early Exit is the latest feature from the DFS operator after having launched several others in recent months, including social media functions designed to allow players to interact with their peers and the launch of player profiles.
PrizePicks was recently acquired by Allwyn for an initial cash consideration of $1.6bn for a 62.3% stake
Following the announcement, PrizePicks was granted permission to offer prediction markets in the future by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
It also received an interactive fantasy sports operating license by the New York State Gaming Commission last month.
