Lotto.com reaches four million customers milestone
Newly released data shows players have won over $150m in prizes through the online lottery courier since it launched in Spring 2021
Lotto.com has announced it has reached the four million customer milestone, achieving it in under five years.
Customers have won $150m in prizes through the online lottery courier platform since it launched in Spring 2021, as well as $90m in draw wins, the operator revealed.
Players have also won $63m in scratch winnings through Lotto.com.
Around $185m has been returned to state lottery beneficiaries. The business is live in 11 states, with plans to expand into more in the pipeline.
In a statement, the firm has said the results since its inception show the “excitement, ease and trust players have in Lotto.com’s modern approach to lottery.”
The operator has seen over seven million winning tickets ordered through the platform.
Tom Metzger, Lotto.com CEO, said: “Reaching four million customers and seeing over $150m in winnings go back into the hands of our players is an incredible achievement for our team.
“We are proud to be the platform so many people trust and remain committed to driving growth that generates incremental returns to good causes in the states we operate in.”
Last year, Lotto.com filed a lawsuit against the Texas Lottery Commission after the regulator deemed lottery courier services illegal in February.
Lottery couriers act as conduits for customers, allowing players to purchase lottery tickets on an app, before a lottery courier buys and stores the physical tickets.
Leading operators in the space include DraftKings-owned Jackpocket and Jackpot.com.
