High Roller set for “tremendously exciting” expansion into prediction markets
CEO Seth Young says online casino-only operator is positioned for its next phase of growth, despite 25% YoY hit in Q4 revenue after a year of “significant transformation”
High Roller Technologies CEO Seth Young has said the online casino-only firm is well positioned for its “next phase of growth” as it expands into prediction markets through its partnership with Crypto.com.
Despite announcing Q4 2025 revenue fell 25% year over year (YOY) to $4.7m, attributed primarily to planned exits from certain markets, Young said the operator has “worked diligently” to prepare for new market and product launches this year.
In January, the operator and Crypto.com entered into an agreement that will see the New York-listed firm offer event contracts by CFTC-registered exchange CDNA, an affiliate of Crypto.com.
Finance, entertainment, and sports contracts will be made available on High Roller’s platform.
Commenting on High Roller’s plans for 2026, Young said: “2025 capped a period of significant transformation for High Roller as we improved operational efficiency, refined our geographic footprint and positioned the business for the next phase of growth as we expand into one of the most compelling new regulated categories — US prediction markets.
“While we intentionally ceased B2C operations in certain markets throughout the year in response to regulatory shifts, we have worked diligently in parallel to prepare the business for the kind of scale we are anticipating through new market and product launches in 2026.”
Revenue for the final three months of the year dropped from $5.9m to $4.7m, although adjusted EBITDA losses narrowed from $1.9m to $427,000.
Key events for the quarter included several C-suite appointments, including Jake Francis as COO, Carlo Scappaticci as chief marketing officer and Andrew Walter as chief legal and compliance officer.
Full-year 2025 revenue decreased 11.9% YOY to $20.5m, but adjusted EBITDA losses narrowed by $2m to $3.7m.
Total operating expenses fell 16% YOY to $26.6m due to lower direct operating costs and advertising and promotions.
Prior to the end of 2025, High Roller raised $26m through a $1m strategic investment from Sarataga Casino and the remainder through a registered direct offering of 1,892,506 common stock at $13.21 per share.
The proceeds will be used for geographic expansion, product development and working capital, High Roller said.
Young added: “To accelerate our growth, we recently strengthened our balance sheet with $26m, added seasoned executives to our leadership team and continued to build other key partnerships to complement our premium brands and existing distribution capabilities.
“Our planned entry into new, regulated igaming markets like Ontario is a natural extension of our core expertise, while our planned entry into the regulated US prediction market space is a tremendously exciting, high-upside strategic opportunity.
“We believe the pieces are now in place to capitalize on these opportunities, and we’re confident in our ability to execute on our strategy moving forward.”
High Roller’s share price was down 4.5% to $4.29 at the time of writing.
