EveryMatrix Americas president announces departure
Erik Nyman leaves the supplier after five years with the company, having first assumed the position in July 2020
EveryMatrix Americas president Erik Nyman has announced his impending departure from the company.
Nyman first joined the supplier’s North American arm in July 2020, holding the president role for his entire tenure.
Prior to his spell with EveryMatrix Americas, Nyman spent almost 10 years in various roles with fellow supplier NetEnt between July 2010 and February 2020.
After holding a series of business development positions, in July 2017, he was appointed as president for NetEnt Americas, serving in the role until his exit to EveryMatrix.
Nyman also founded igaming consultancy firm Nyman Leisure in March 2020, which he has run concurrently alongside his EveryMatrix role.
Writing on LinkedIn, Nyman said about his departure: “After an exciting and rewarding five years, I am closing a significant chapter in my professional journey with a deep sense of pride and gratitude. I had the privilege of leading EveryMatrix entry into North America – a journey that has now brought the company to a remarkable milestone.
“As of right now, we are licensed and live in every igaming state in the continent, with direct contracts and integrations with the largest operators in the US and Canada. Alongside this, we have also achieved major global deals and completed successful M&A activities.”
Nyman noted that the time was for him to step aside after making significant headway for the supplier in the US market.
He said: “We have established strong partnerships, created traction, and laid a solid foundation for growth in one of the world’s most competitive and complex markets. And all of this took place in a time of Covid lockdown and geopolitical challenges.
“These achievements would not have been possible without the dedication, collaboration, and trust of my colleagues, partners, and friends. Thank you for supporting me and the vision, and for making this journey both professionally fulfilling and personally inspiring.
“With the North American business fully established, it is the right time for me to move on and hand over the reins to my very capable colleagues.”
