Sisal named operator of the year at EGR Italy Awards 2026
Flutter Entertainment-owned giant retains the top title in Rome, alongside winning three other trophies on the night
Sisal was named operator of the year at the EGR Italy Awards 2026 as the Flutter Entertainment brand snapped up four trophies in Rome.
The event, which followed the EGR Italy Briefing on Tuesday 20 October, welcomed the leading operators and suppliers serving the Italian market.
Sisal also snapped up the sports betting operator of the year award and casino operator of the year award, as well as taking home the inaugural operator performance award powered by H2 Gambling Capital.
The award is decided purely on H2’s tracking of the Italian online market, and its inclusion comes following EGR parent company Burghclere acquiring the market intelligence platform earlier this year.
Fellow Flutter brand Snaitech also nabbed an award for sports betting innovation.
Meanwhile, PokerStars was named poker operator of the year and took the title for best operator marketing campaign.
The EGR Italy Awards 2026 were hosted by sports journalist and presenter Anna Maria Baccaro.
